
Chef Amanda's love for cooking began
at a young age. She began her professional training at
the Academy of Culinary Arts in Mays Landing, NJ. After
her first year, she decided to take a semester and study
at the Natural Gourmet Cookery School in New York City,
a professional chef's training program that focuses on
vegan/vegetarian cooking. She went back to New Jersey to
finish her Associates in Applied Culinary Science (A.A.S)
at the Academy. Amanda graduated with a silver medal.
She is a member of the American Personal Chef
Association, has adopted their Code of Ethics, and is a
member of the American Culinary Federation. Amanda is
ServSafe certified. She was also featured in the January
2005 issue of Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles Magazine.
